Young Person's Guarantee Graduate Placement Scheme

Wed 15 Dec 21

The Scottish Funding Council has allocated £3.5m of Young Person's Guarantee funding this academic year to the University of Edinburgh who are leading on the Young Person's Guarantee Graduate placement scheme.

This allocation has been divided up between all universities, and will provide a 3-12 month paid internship to up to 500 graduates in 2022.

These placements will be targeted at students/graduates who may not otherwise have access to a paid internship and will be matched up carefully by university career coaches with support throughout the placement.

There is already demand from the public sector which is being handled centrally by Scottish Government and capped to allow access to the private and third sectors to provide suitable opportunities for placements.
If you are an employer interested in supporting a paid graduate intern in 2022, have a look at the website and fill in the employer expression of interest form here.
