Tourism St Andrews is now formally the Local Tourist Association for St Andrews. Alistair Bruce, Chair of the Fife Tourism Partnership, "This is great news that we now have an LTA in ST Andrews, it is important that all areas of Fife are equally represented at the Fife Tourism meetings. For Dunfermline the LTA has been key to Dunfermline's tourism product development and I hope Tourism St Andrews will play a similar role for St Andrews."

Jerry Beaulier Chair of Tourism St Andrews is keen for all businesses in the St Andrews area to be aware that this LTA now exists and is for the benefit of all businesses. "We meet at least 4 times per year to share information to the benefit of our businesses and to promote tourism in St Andrews. Our next meeting is 14th March at 1 pm in the Scores Hotel in St Andrews. We welcome all businesses to attend and we try and restrict the meeting to an hour with half an hour at the end for networking."

The agenda will include agreeing the objectives for the group, the progress of our Meet and Greet the coaches initiative and an update on the Kelpies maquettes installation. We also have a BID update and any news from Fife Tourism partnership. There is always opportunity in the meetings for general discussion and information sharing relevant to tourism in St Andrews.

It is hoped that he group will work well with BID St Andrews and other groups in the town to deliver a good visitor experience for our many visitors from all over the World.

Please contact Jerry Beaulier [email protected] to confirm attendance at the next meeting or with any queries.

Please also register on the website for regular updates. The website will be updates with any information regarding news about tourism in St Andrews, training available etc. The group also has active facebook and twitter channels all under the Tourism St Andrews brand.
