Dunfermlines Outwith Festival 2020

Early Bird Tickets Go on Sale, Friday 29 November

The Outwith Festival All-Day Music event is back for 2020, taking place on Saturday 5 September next year.

After 2019’s sell-out success, the live music event is back as part of the six-day arts festival, taking place from 1 - 6 September 2020, and includes an additional wide-ranging programme of comedy, film, theatre, literature and family events.

This one ticket gives you access to all 7+ ticketed venues all day.

Live music will take place from 3pm until midnight on Saturday 5 September 2020.

2019’s massive line up included Scottish heavyweights Idlewild, Honeyblood, William McCarthy from New York’s Augustines & The Charlatans legendary frontman, Tim Burgess.

A host of some of the most exciting emerging artists from Scotland, the UK and further afield including Siobhan Wilson, Avalanche Party, Meursault, Lucia, Man of Moon, Foreignfox, The Van Ts, Dancing on Tables, Rebecca Vasmant, Oskar Braves, Shredd, Moonlight Zoo, Goodnight Louisa, Paris Street Rebels, Scarlett Randle & Sunstinger ensured that this was one of the strongest line-ups at any Scottish festival.

Chris Foote of Delivering Dunfermline said “Everyone at the festival has been working extremely hard in order to come up with a new exciting programme for Outwith 2020. We are already in advanced talks with some very exciting headliners for the festival. We hope to announce the first names on the bill early in the New Year”.

“After 2019’s success, our funders have been very positive about supporting the Festival again in 2020 and we’ll also be applying for funding to a wide range of new organisations.”

The 2019 Festival also proved to be a huge boost for the local economy this year, attracting more than 9,000 attendees and an overall spend double that of the previous year, with a net economic impact of £334,000.

2020’s line-up promises to be even bigger, bringing some of the most exciting acts from around the world into the heart of Dunfermline’s historic town centre.

Early-bird tickets for 2020’s event go on-sale Friday 29 November at 2019’s price of £20. There will be a very limited number going on-sale in plenty of time to fill up your Christmas stockings.

Tickets go on-sale Friday 29 November via, and direct at Carnegie Hall Box Office.
