ScotRail Transport Integration Manager Des Bradley said:
“Supporting a more integrated transport network in Scotland is a key focus for ScotRail because we know that journeys don’t start and end at the train station.
“We’ve already delivered a massive investment in station access and transport integration in recent years, with the provision of over 1,700 extra cycle spaces, and improved signage, information and facilities for customers transferring between rail and other modes.
“This fund allows us to continue this investment and helps us to deliver our vision of a ‘doorstep to destination’ journeys for customers.
“We are encouraging councils, local community groups and other partners to take advantage of this great opportunity and help us deliver a better railway for Scotland.”
