VisitScotland and the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA) has adapted their popular Exceeding Visitor Expectations (EVE) course from the classroom to online learning during lockdown.
The course, in partnership with VisitScotland, is designed specifically for those working in the visitor attraction industry and enables participants to discover everything they need to know about being an ambassador for their attraction and delivering great service.
The course content is closely aligned to our Quality Assurance programme for Visitor Attractions, providing guidance and insight into the expectations of 5-star service, hospitality and friendliness.
The EVE course consists of three webinars sessions, videos of the first two webinars (held earlier this month) are available to view online. The third session will be on Thursday 21 May 2020 – find out more and how to sign up.
The content of the webinars follows similar lines to the classroom EVE course, but also focuses on the new landscape we find ourselves in, exploring how expectations can be exceeded both during the current lockdown phase, and once we enter the recovery period and start welcoming visitors again. Delivered by Catherine Bowie and ASVA.
Each session also features a manager from VisitScotland's Quality Assurance (QA) scheme to answer questions on the QA scheme in the post-coronavirus landscape.
