East Neuk Local Tourism Association - Social Media Evening

Wed 14 Oct 15

Thursday, October 29

"Social Media: Help or Hindrance" talk being given by Susan McNaughton on behalf of the East Neuk Local Tourism Association.

Susan will be talking about social media for use by all businesses, but is adding a special focus for accommodation and travel-related providers. She herself is an accommodation provider with properties in Crail and Edinburgh, and has a second speciality as a social media maven. As such, she brings first-hand knowledge, experience, and practical insight into how social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Trip Advisor), blogs, and travel businesses work together, especially when getting the word out about accommodation and travel service providers.

Our meeting takes place at the Kingsbarns Distillery between 6pm and 9pm. Before the meeting, guests can take a tour of the distillery, have tea and snacks, meet other guests, and peruse the tables with brochures, flyers and information which other attendees have put out, and which you can add your own information on to.

SPACE IS LIMITED AND FILLING UP FAST. Please let us know if you'll be able to join us, and feel free to pass this information along to others who might have an interest in social media (whether they're in the travel business or not). As the ENLTA is a self-supporting body (we're orphans -- no funding from anybody!), a charge of £5pp to cover expenses will be collected at the door.

Many thanks for your time and consideration of this information....we hope to see you soon!

With best wishes,

Andy Peddie, Chairman
Nikki Storrar, Vice Chair
Gail Sorley, Secretary
