The countdown is on, with two weeks today until our first ever Tay Cities Regional Tourism Conference as part of this year’s Scottish Tourism Month. Come along and hear from an exciting line up of speakers set to inspire you! 

Peter Jordan from TOPSOPHY will give an update on the Tay Cities Regional Tourism Strategy which is in development following consultation with industry.

There will be an opportunity to hear about the key themes of design, food and adventure from our speakers: 

  • Caroline Couret, an expert in creative tourism and the founder and director of the Creative Tourism Network will talk about creating a Creative Friendly Destination.    
  • John Mulcahy, an Independent Food Tourism Advisor will share his perspective on food tourism and its role in Ireland. 
  • Carron Tobin from the Argyll & The Isles Tourism Cooperative will discuss the Wild About Argyll adventure and film initiative.

You will also hear from a number of local businesses about their exciting new tourism products and experiences;

Finally, Marc Crothall from the Scottish Tourism Alliance will provide an update on the next national tourism strategy beyond 2020.
