The Hoteliers’ Charter was drawn up in 2020 to raise the profile of the hospitality industry and promote hospitality as a profession of choice to parents, schools, colleges, universities and careers influencers.
STA CEO Marc Crothall sits on the Board and as we move into recovery, he is urging all Scottish hotel General Managers to sign up (at no cost) to the Charter, to demonstrate that Scotland’s hoteliers are fully committed to delivering on the values of the charter. The Charter also focuses on recruiting from our communities, into the wider hospitality industry, primarily through hotels.
The Hoteliers’ Charter has already secured the full support and backing of many other national industry bodies including, The Master Innholders, UKHospitality, St Julian’s Scholars, The Institute of Hospitality along with 300+ hotel general managers across the UK.
Why you should become a Chartered Hotelier
This is our chance to put Scotland on the map as leading the way in hospitality, showcasing great career opportunities and giving our young people the opportunity to be part of the rebuilding of one of Scotland's most important sectors.
