“Kindness” has been announced as the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 18 – 24 May 2020, in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Please find details attached about the Scottish Government Clear Your Head campaign www.clearyourhead.scot and additional resources pulled together by the Fife Health Promotion Service to support local Fife organisations.

At these uncertain times the Scottish Government has developed the Clear Your Head campaign to support population wide mental health and wellbeing. You may have seen the adverts on the TV and heard them through the radio.  However we recognise that for some, further support is needed to help them through this unprecedented time. 

The “Clear Your Head Resource Pack” and this email contains enhanced information which will support 

  • Employers develop processes to manage the mental health of their workforce, 
  • Managers support their teams, and 
  • Workers who provide a client based frontline service.  

The enhanced information can assist identify and support those showing signs of crisis and distress as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. 

The resource pack includes social media content you can use on your own platforms, self management resources, ‘Ask, Tell…’ animations, and a 3 step guide for workers or volunteers. Attached is also a PDF of the new 'Keeping Connected' Leaflet, in an easy read online version.
